The ultimate field jacket by Le Chameau. Our LCM4 insulated field jacket is fully waterproof, lined with Primaloft for warmth and bursting with innovations such as super-load pockets, innovative shooting hood, built-in carry strap and articulated sleeves for exceptional freedom of movement.
The outer shell is an Italian produced fabric made from a cotton, polyester, polyamide mix and coated in a Durable Water Repellent finish to provide an extra barrier against the elements.
The jackets are waterproof and breathable using a fully seam taped dropliner which is our highest performing membrane and will protect you against extreme conditions. An internal cuff with silicone grip tape prevents any water soaking through at the sleeves.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
Freedom of movement is maximised in the Insulated Field Jacket through a two-piece sleeve design, which has an exaggerated curve through the elbow, allowing the sleeve to follow the natural curve of your arm. For unrestricted movement when your arms are lifted, the bottom of the armhole is positioned lower on the body, while the sleeve length finishes approximately 4cm below the wrist. An 'Action Back' panel is integrated into the back of the jacket, providing extra width which allows you to move your arms forwards without being restricted. This Women's jacket is fastened as a Men's jacket to avoid any exposed snaps on the shooter's side.
SUPER-LOAD POCKET SYSTEM
Our innovative super-load pocket system uses a re-enforced wire along the pocket mouth edges to ensure it stays open while shooting. Fast and unrestricted access to the super-load pocket is aided further by the angled pocket top and by the positioning of a handwarmer pocket below the main pocket flap. This flap can be secured inside the handwarmer pocket while the super-load pocket is in use. Water-repellent pocket lining and eyelets in the base of the pocket allow rainwater to drain away efficiently, while concealed snaps at the top of the pocket keep the pocket flat and in place when not being used.

Inspired by military apparel, inside the jacket there is a long body strap which allows you to carry the jacket across your back when not being fully worn. Reinforced cobrax snaps give the carry strap extra strength and security.
Le Chameau's detachable shooting hood is mesh lined for breathability and consists of a three-piece design which provides a comfortable shape and full 180 degree field of vision. The hood shape is specially designed to allow ear defenders to be worn beneath the hood if required, while the peak has been stiffened and can be moulded to your desired shape to keep water away from your face. Concealed front drawstring adjusters and a rear drawstring adjuster enable full adjustability to your own requirements, with added protection from the elements provided by a deep-front neck wrap with double snap fastening.
Le Chameau's insulated field jackets feature Primaloft insulation, which is water resistant to keep you warm whilst wet. The Primaloft wadding has been designed for durability, breathability, warmth and as it is super-lightweight it allows for freedom of movement with any activity.
