Chrysalis Litchfield Tweed Field Coat – Bracken Check

A traditional English field coat, crafted in England by Chrysalis from 100% wool in a beautifully understated Bracken Check. The fine herringbone tweed combines muted olive-brown tones with a subtle warm rust overcheck, creating a rich, autumnal colour inspired by the English countryside. Cut slightly longer than the Chrysalis Chiltern, the Litchfield offers additional coverage while retaining an elegant, traditional silhouette.

Behind the traditional wool exterior sits Chrysalis’ All Weather Wear Protection System – a breathable, waterproof and windproof membrane positioned between the tweed shell and the wool lining. The result is a substantial field coat designed to keep you warm, dry and comfortable through changing weather.

Half-raglan sleeves, a bi-swing back and carefully considered construction provide freedom of movement, while the rust wool billiard-cloth lining adds warmth and a beautifully traditional finish. Quilted sleeves, inner knitted cuffs and a double-ended brass zip protected by a brass snap storm flap provide additional protection when the weather turns.

Generous bellows pockets are complemented by upper handwarmer pockets, with internal snap-straps that can hold the lower pockets open for quick and easy access. Finished with a navy loden top collar, warm brown trim and traditional brass hardware, the Litchfield is a beautifully made piece of English country clothing – equally suited to days in the field and everyday country wear.
